George Aird’s Low Altitude Ejection from Lightning F1
On the 13th September 1962, test pilot George Aird ejected from his English Electric Lightning F1 after an engine fire and no response from the controls on an emergency landing approach. George landed in a greenhouse and sustained several fractures. You can read more here
